Conception Vessel (
Ren Mai
)
Course:
The Conception Vessel begins in the lower abdomen or the uterus in women. The channel passes through the
urogenituary organs and the surface pathway starts at the perineum at CV 01. The channel ascends the midline of the
abdomen, across the chest through the neck, up to the metolabial groove on the chin. From there the channel splits
and encircles the mouth and ascends to terminate at ST 01 below the eye socket.
